tried out the Safari browser again today. Downloaded and installed the latest version. Double-checked all my settings. And... it still sucks. Every important website I require access to I cannot get to with this browser. How can something fail so spectacularly and still be so loved by people?<br /><br />My webmail site - The ssl cert on my webmail site is messed up. I know this. It will get fixed eventually, when my friend gets around to it. In the meantime, I have told Firefox that I am aware of the issue, and voila! I read my emails. In IE, the same. In Safari I get this gem "Safari can’t open the page “(insert my webmail url here)” because it couldn’t establish a secure connection to the server." Thanks Safari! There are no options, no explainations, no ways around it.<br /><br />Then there are the websites I have to get to for work. They are, obviously, internal websites. I've added those IPs to the 'bypass proxy' section in the network config. Still Safari cannot get to them.
